Balance of Hero and Villain

Blogger, Corey Weddell, explored the fascinating background of the Batman characters and their correlation between them and Batman in his post on PopOptiq. With his extensive background in comics, experience in writing, and knowledge of Batman's lore, he composed a blog post pertaining to the connections between the dark knight and his enemies.

Weddell repetitively revealed the indisputable connections between Batman and his enemies. What?! You may ask yourself, but the connections are much more real than it first appears. "Batman reflects his enemies" sounds like a somewhat ludicrous statement. However once analyzed and thought critically there are several distinct connections. He proposes that Batman is not much different from his enemies and, although skeptical at first, I believe him because of his examples and direct comparisons. One example, two-face, resembles Batman by representing his two-lifestyle personality, Batman and Bruce Wayne.
This slight connection appears in all of Batman's super villains, in one way or another.  Weddell is right! However, an alternative viewpoint, Batman does not reflect his enemies, nor the other way around, but instead both of them exist because they must.
What is good without evil? In all events of human life there must be a balance between good and evil. Some consider it more humane to be good and evil, rather than just all evil or just all good. Batman achieves this balance with his enemies. Then this must apply to other superheroes as well to achieve a more humane character. Right? However, is the relationship quite as obvious or prominent? This is what we'll explore.
